The tallest woman that ever lived was Zeng Jinlian from China, who was 8 feet 2 inches tall. She died at the age of 17.
Zeng Jinlian (China, b. 26 June 1964) of Yujiang village in the Bright Moon Commune, Hunan Province, measured 246.3 cm (8 ft 1 in) when she died on 13 February 1982.
She began to grow abnormally from the age of four months and stood 156cm (5 ft 1 1/2in) before her fourth birthday and 217 cm (7 ft 1 1/2in) when she was aged 13.
Her hands measure 25.5 cm (10 in) and her feet 35.5 cm (14 in) in length.
She suffered from both scoliosis and diabetes.
Her parents are 163 cm (5 ft 4 1/2 in) and 156 cm (5 ft 1 1/2 in) while her brother was 158 cm (5 ft 2 1/2 in), aged 18.
