Venetia Katharine Douglas Burney (married name Phair, 11 July 1918 – 30 April 2009), as an English girl of 11 years old, was credited by Clyde Tombaugh with first suggesting the name Pluto for the planet he discovered in 1930. She was living in Oxford, England, at the time.
