In Quebec, Sweden and Norway, advertising to children under the age of 12 is illegal.
In Norway and Quebec advertising to children under the age of 12 is illegal. The 1991 ban in Sweden was repealed on 1 August 2010. The European Union also has framework legislation in place which sets down minimum provisions on advertising to children for all its member states.
